El reloj de oro

Art Director - 2020

Short film set in 1950´s Mexico tells the story of a brave young boy becoming the hero of his own story when he sets out to confront his grandfather whom he has never met before. The set design focused on creating a very refined look for the restaurant scenes and a very contrasting one for the exterior/grocery shop that would give us a look into how different wealthy and middle class people lived and allowed the viewer to connect with the main character and his purpose. The color red was used to link these two stories and as a visual cue that linked the three main characters together in small details. - Set designer and assistant production designer / art director
